Hey ya'll! I was talking to my new friend Amber about my blog about my daughter Miranda, and she suggested that I make another one that is just about me and how my days go. I thought about it and said that I would give it a go. So, I am at a blank right now, because my entertainment IS my daughter. I guess I can tell you about me as far as where I came from and things like that.....which is pretty boring, but I will do it to take up space on my first post.
This is me:
That's not a very good pic, but I can't find the one I was looking for. Anyway, I am a 37 year old full time working mother and wife(not in that order). I have been married for 6 1/2 years and have been a mom for 4 1/2 years. I was born in California, but moved to Arkansas when I was around 6 or 7 years old. So, I consider myself an Arkansan. I have moved around a lot in Arkansas. Since I have been in AR, I have lived in Pocahontas(Northeast AR), Whelen Springs, Gurdon, Beirne, Arkadelphia(lots of apts. in Arkadelphia, Hot Springs, and then Gurdon again. I have 1 real brother, 2 half brothers, 1 half sister, 2 step sisters, and 1 step brother. The only one that is older than me is my step brother.....the rest of them are younger. I work at Summit Bank and have been there for 6 years. I love this bank!!! I am so happy there and just adore my boss. She is more like a friend to me than a boss. I have made a lot of friends over the years and I am blessed to have the ones that I do. I love making new friends, but also love my old friends.
Here is a pic of my family....my husband Scottie:
He is in camo, just about 24/7!LOL He is an avid hunter and unfortunately we got married on the first day of muzzle loading season. He failed to tell me that when we were discussing wedding dates. Anyway, this is him. He is 38 years old and we were fixed up to meet even though we went to the same high school in Gurdon. We knew each other, but I wouldn't even talk to a brick wall in those days. Years later, here we were dating and then got married. It's funny how things happen years down the road.
Here is my beautiful daughter Miranda:
She is my precious little 4 1/2 year old girl that is the best thing that ever happened to Scottie and me! I love that baby more than I could ever explain! She is a major drama queen though! Don't get her upset, or we have a blown out meltdown. Woe is me!!! If she doesn't become an actress when she gets older, she has missed her calling! THAT BAD! Anyway, she is my precious joy in my life though! I don't know what I would do without her in my life!
Okay, that is about all I want to say in this post. I am boring myself so I am sure ya'll are yawning up a storm. I am no where near as creative as Amber or any of these other bloggers I have been following, but maybe it will get a little better as I go. I hope ya'll enjoy this and I will try to keep the posts going as well as I can. Don't have much computer time to really do this, but we shall see!
Talk to ya'll later! :)
